Auto Tranny Flush Question

I need to do a auto tranny drain and fill and was wondering if anyone has the link to the how-to remove tranny drain pan and cleaning the tranny screen with part number for screws (I think). I've looked through the stickies, but can't find it.

Thank.

hey man...you should get a tranny flush, dont just drain and refill, draining only gets less than 1/2 of the fluid out of your tranny, you need to get a flush and get all the old nasty fluid out of there, its really important...go to aamco, I went there a few months ago and they were running a special for 99 bucks, its the aamco on bustelton ave...the guy there was telling me that after a certain amount of miles that the fluid becomes useless after being heated up so many times, and then there is no fluid to protect your tranny parts...plus-once you get it, then you can get it for free once a year!...banging deal...good luck

edit: just so you know, its as a crazy amount of work to drop your transmission pan, I had it quoted at well over 200$...just get a flush

Its easy as hell to drop the pan it took me 15 minutes in and out. its 21 bolts i believe. take them out pull on the pan (be careful it will have fluid in it still) clean everything out. put some permatex on the surround of the pan and bolt it back up.
