Which brake fluid to get?
I'm getting the Blehmco BBK put on my car and was wondering what brand of brake fluid is suggested?
I read some posts a while back about ATE Super Blue (?), where can I pick that up from?

its mainly for racing applications and for those who EXPECT to change their fluid a few times a year. ATE super blue performs almost as good as motul, but absorbs water at a much slower rate and can be used with an interval of 3 years.

ATE Blue is fine for street driving. In fact, as I recall BMWs come with it from the factory. Yes, technically it is good for racing applications because of the high boiling point, but it is also good for a daily driver because of low water absorption.
A good place to get it (and other good fluids): www.ogracing.com (a plug for my local autocross/race performance shop )

How often is brake fluid supposed to be replaced? I recently got my car from my dad, and I think the only maintenance he did for the first 92k miles were brake jobs and oil changes.
and aside from temperature sensitivity and water absorption issues, is there a reason to change the fluid?
