How much Gear Oil for 95 GXE?

I have a 95 GXE with a manual transmission. I am ordering fluid for it and I realized I did not know how much to order. I am doing a complete drain and refil, how many quarts will I need? I have heard any where from 4 to 5 quarts. Please let me know. I am using synthetic so its not cheap, I would rather not buy too much, but I do not want too little either. Thanks for the help.

You need to buy 5 quarts as the manual transaxle takes 9.25 to 10.125 pints according to the Haynes manual.

Thanks man. I had already figured it out. I should have probably deleted this thread. I have 5 qts. of Amsoil coming on Monday.

when I refilled the tranny after bolting it back to the motor, it held all 5 quarts. I am guessing this is because the tranny was leaning towards the rear since I had the car on stands.
