well, after reasearching it, i decided, to flush my motor in hope of cleaning my VTC gallriies and ruducing the noise or completly getting rit of it.


bought 2gal of karosone

6quarts of oil

2 oil filters

so i drained the oil, and took filter off,

put new filter on, added

1 qt oil, 1qt karo, 5/8 qt of oil, 1qt karo

ran for just under 5 min, at idel, and 1 time i done 1800 rpm for 1-2 secs hoping to engage the vtcs

drined the oil, and filter, the oil was dirty but not black.

put new oil and filter in, so far they are quiet



in the next few days im going to do it agian but ima use 3qt karo 1qt oil, hoping to clean a lil better.

i did not wonna use that the 1st time cuz i was a lil afriad of cleaning to much and stopping up my oil pickup screen.


im planning to do a flush, espically on VE30DE atleast 1ce a year

 

Kerosene? @ 1:1 ratio? Seems dangerous to me

 

really, thats all engine flush is, at advance, it comes in quarts for like $2.
