Ditto that.
Long-life, borate+silicate free green Nissan stuff is the way to go.
A bit pricey, but necessary for maint-free operation.
Consider whatever warranty you have as well - this is good insurance.

My motorcycle likes the same stuff....silicate & borate free.
I went to the local honda shop last week and asked for it by name - and they sold me a gallon of 50/50 premix. $17

My local Nissan Dealer doesn't stock the 100% coolant of the same variety -- Morons.

You have to ASK for it, or they'll give you the cheap stuff.

A dealer should carry full strength Nissan coolant, if the dealer doesn't you have a problem. First he shouldn't be carrying Peak coolant inplace of Nissan Coolant and if he says it is fine to use Peak (which I used and blew up a radiator), get it in writing and fax the writing to Nissan NA headquarters, that way these id.ots at these dealerships are kept on check.

Just check the stickies above. That's what they are there for -- to answer common questions like this.

Peak is not bad but then you will need to do a complete flush and then add it. You cannot mix Nissan Coolant with Peak coolant, which is described as OK on the back of the bottle.

Complete flush and then you will be OK.

right. a *complete* flush. and a complete, 100% purge of any trapped air. then you might be ok. of course, for all this trouble you save about $2/year. only you can decide if it's worth it.

Common guys, don't cut cornors on coolants.

Peak Global costs $10/Gallon
Nissan OEM costs $20/Gallon

You guys make the call.
