Oil change small leak?

Hey guys,

I have a situation here, i just switched over to synthetic over the weekend with 111k miles on 1998 max. Now i just recently noticed that in about a 6 hour period there is about 3 or 4 drops of oil underneath the pan/filter. Is this something i should be worried about? BTW I'm using mobil 1 super syn, with a mobil 1 filter.
Are there any solutions? Also is it me or is it difficult to read the oil stick.

Have you ever replaced the oil pressure sensor? If the leak was to worsen, it may be on its way out. This is a common problem on 4th Gens and is a quick, inexpensive fix.

I believe it is located near the back end (rear) of the oil pan.

Mine was replaced just over 2 years ago.

I switched over to synthetic last year at about 63k, but did an AutoRX application first.

Given your mileage I would have been inclined to do two AutoRX applications to rejuvenate the oil seals, clean the ring packs and engine internals before the switch.
