Water2Gas Upgrade Kit

has anyone heard or tried this... i've been reading up on it all morning... there's really nothing to lose...I'm shocked no1 here has tried it already.
what do you guys think???

There's a rather large thread about hho in the 4th gen forums. Apparently a few have tried it out, but they haven't gotten it to completely work yet. So far it gives more low-end power and a quieter engine. But They are still trying to get better mpg out of it. Since it causes more oxygen to be sent through the exhaust, the O2 sensors tell the engine to use more gas. But everyone there is building their own, and they advise not to buy stuff pre-made because the quality is bad and there is a large potential to melt the water/electrolyte container. Just keep reading the progress on the 4th gen forum before you waste 50 bucks.

Friend of mine did it on his Jetta. He didn't see any MPG increase and the whole setup got nasty in the winter when it froze up into an ice cube.

apparently you can add alcohol to it to the winter to keep it from freezing

My boss lives on Vodka. He calls it "jet fuel".. I think it'll work in our cars.

I'm guessing vodka would do the trick haha. But you'd probably be more interested in drinking it than putting it in the tank.
