SeaFoam Trans Tune

I was getting ready to change my transmission fluid. I was looking at Sea Foam Trans Tune. Searched on the forums and didn't see anything about it. Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what kind of success that have had with it. I was going to refill the ATF fluid with MaxLife ATF also

ive never used seafoam in a tranny before but i have used it in fuel and i have seen improvements. its a good product, give it a shot and see where it goes. alternatively you can try to get your hands on some marvel mystery oil. ive used it plenty and i have friends that have used it for the better of 30 years and swear by it.

Seafoam and Seafoam TransTune are two different products.

OP, I have that 2-3 flare when I lay into it sometimes, so I am going with the same ATF as you plus I am giving that Lucas additive a shot, Ive heard pretty good things about it. However, depending on your mileage you may not want to "flush" it but rather just go with a "drain & fill" which is what I am doing tomorrow AM. I dont know to what extent you researched this though, so I won't carry on anymore.

I have been going to the same master mechanic for years. He has been a master mechanic for 25 plus years. He says when they put a mechanic in a bottle then he will be out of business. I stay clear of all those things and go with regular maintenance, and use synthetic all the way around. No problems yet. He did however say to me once he does believe in lucas products, then ads but not for your tiny little import engine. lol. He says if you dont have the money to repair the problem I.E. tranny or engine then lucas will by some time. good old fashion regular maintenance will keep her going for a long time.
