Brake fluid for a 4th Gen

I just had my entre brake system flushed on my 95 Maxima.

I was always under the impression that Dot 3 brake fluid is the way to go.

The shop used Wynn Dot 4 heavy duty brake fluid and assured me that is fine to use.

Does anyone have any experience in using a heavy duty Dot 4 brake fluid?

The car has 93,400 one-owner miles on it.

Thanks

currently there's dot 3,4, and 5. You can use either 3 or 4, but never ever use dot 5, that's pure synethic and it used for bike or racing.
