The oem unit looks expensive.

dudes smoking crack if he thinks he can get $400 for the used one, theyre $60 at the junykard here and i can get the rest of the turbo stuff i need for $50ish. Stupid me, there was a 5spd 3rd gen and low mileage Z31 turbo at the junkyard last summer but they were both crushed by the time i was able to get around to ripping out the tranny and getting the turbo setup. they hold their cars for quite a while before getting crushed in the winter so hopefully when it warms up a bit i'll find a Z31 turbo therethanks for the remanufactured link though, i might skip the 5spd swap and just get a better turbo like that one and get my current auto tranny built up to handle the turbo.
I have an auto and somethings wrong with it. It will rev up and then engage so if I don't baby it it will be like a neutral drop. Manual is fun to drive so I want to "fix" it with that. I still don't know why my trans is acting like this. I think it's the TQ converter. I need to do something about it this summer because I have this SC sitting here. Do you have a lsd auto or a regular one?
Dont forget, the turbos from there are rebuilt with topnotch hardware, you can even call an upgrade while being at that point. They offer rebuilds, upgrades and good accessorie variety.
They know what they're doing. Its a place where they remanufacture turbos with Garrett Hardware and high-end machines instead of being a shop where you can get the lowest turbo kit at discussiable prices and quality.
Like, you bring your car there and they tell you 3000$ off the bat and your car runs like cr.p and lags like a cow... not there.

i'm gonna grab the Blaast one it looks like, i dont really want to deal with a junkyard one now that i think of it lol
i was thinking about doing a straight swap with a Z31 turbo engine, but i love my VG too much
