Nissan FAST Software - Supplement to FSM

Has anyone installed the FAST software on their computers? I remember downloading a version awhile back, but was confused by something, so I didn't install it.

Basically all those diagrams on the courtesy website are screen shots from the software?

I've got two versions of FAST, 2003 and 2006. FWIW, neither one of them shows the J30, so they probably aren't of use to you.

And yes, all of Courtesy's diagrams are straight from FAST.

the fast system does cover the 3rd gen, the version i downloaded years back ( i think it is 03) had it in there.
The system does leave much to be desired though, I never use it anymore, too confusing. it is much easier to call my local dealer on something that my suppliers don't list.

Do you guys remember if the FAST software has the feature like on the Courtesy website - where you hover your mouse over the P/N#, and it tells you the name of the part? Eg. "ABS ACTUATOR-ASSY"

No mouse-over, just click on the part number, or add it to the list and it'll give you the description.

Pardon the ignorant question but what are you guys using to open the .iso file(s)? I have the FSMs but thought it would be fun to have loaded as well...

WinRAR will usually open .isos.

if the iso is intended to be a bootable disk. mounting it with daemon tools or alcohol 120% would be best.

WIN ISO can do it too. You basically extract the ISO image file to a folder and just use the setup.exe

If you do install it - can you check your particular version if it has the 1993 GXE in it - i'll probably say J30 SOHC 1993
