In my pursuit to reduce my front end clunking, I actually made matters a whole lot worse. I snapped one of the bolts holding the bracket to the subframe. So of course its a cramped location and dropping the subframe to drill it out would be quite a project. I was wondering if anyone can vouch for various "stud extractors" that use reverse spirals or knurled leverage to get studs out. Another option would be welding a nut to it and hoping that can take it out but theres not many threads exposed.

I have half a mind to just duct tape the bar down to help keep it "secured" until i have time for a real fix. I guess i needed this as an excuse for a RSB

Did the bolt "start"? or did the head shear off right at the start? Can you PB the heck out of it, and cut a groove, then use a big flatblade to remove?

It was most of the way out. The threads that sat in the metal were clean but the length that stuck through to the inside got corroded and caused extra friction when trying to pass through. There's no space in there for a drill or anything large. I'm hoping a ratchet attachment will do the trick.

Strangely enough, on both sides, the rear bolts were totally fine and the front ones were all rusted.
