My 2001 Infiniti !30 is stuck idling at 3000 rpm. How can I return it to a normal idle rate?

 

What I did in my Maxima was change the air filter. Helped out a whole lot especially since the car wouldn't go past 60mph with out shaking. And if that doesn't work than you might need a new Idle Air Control Valve or to have yours cleaned
