tried installing the es sway bar bushings (23mm). I got the greasable ones. Could not figure out how the flat bottom fits in the the rounded recess that the oem bushing sat in. Also the zirk fitting was up against my tie rod boot and i was afraid it would puncture it. I did not install them. Shoudl i be worried and how would i deal with the flat bottom?

Sounds like you ordered the wrong part. You don't need the greasable ones. You need one that fits properly. That would be ES 7.5125 only.

I ordered the 9.5159 Universal - Greaseable Sway Bar Bushings 23mm since that were the ones I saw mentioned in this thread.
