and if he posted it in the 4th & 5th gen general forums, the mods would be all over it like a fly on flypaper.
It would just get moved to this section anyway.

thanks.

Can anyone confirm these "facts" that my roommate has about SS clutch lines. He is 100% in agreement with the advantage of replacing the squishy 2nd line (Same line that the GD SS line replaces), but he claims that the primary (hard) line is much harder than the squishy 2nd line and claims that a braided SS line may not be ideal and may flex more than the stock line. I called BS on him. Hell this removes all the clutter that the GD line does not. Someone just say he is full of *&^% and I may consider buying this

To be perfectly honest with you, pedal feel did change slightly. The huge spagetti of hardlines are there originally because there's supposed to be a certain minimum volume of fluid in the system to dampen vibrations transferred to the pedal and whatnot...and it's true, I can feel a slight bit more of vibration in the clutch pedal now. It's noticible and it may bother some people, but you get used to it quick. Doesn't bother me much. 240sx people always do SS clutch lines so they must be good for something.

Well I am a b&%$h when it comes to abnormalities. Any vibration, idle shudder, noise, etc just pisses me off and makes me feel like my car is a POS. I may just keep things simple and go an alternate path. Thanks for the response. Can anyone else key in on the additional vibrations or tweaks?
