FS: Brand New Electronic Beep Module

This module allows your vehicle to emit a soft, electronic beep upon locking and unlocking the car. This beep is designed to replace the audible horn 'LOCK/UNLOCK' confirmation feature. The electronic beep sound is similar to that found on Lexus vehicles.

This module is also capable of flashing the parking lights upon locking and unlocking. You might need a relay for this if your lights do not flash already, which is not included. This module is compatible with all Generation Maximas. Installation is a very simple 8 wired connections under your dash. Detailed installation instructions included.

I have a few of these so please let me know if you'd like one. Price is $50.00 Shipped, please send paypal to paramy_mixaychareun@hotmail.com

Thanks,

-Paramy

There is an Orange - Parking Light Output wire.

This wire outputs a (-) 200mA signal that is capable of driving a relay that can be connected to the parking lights.

The key word there is 'parking light' output. If your car flashes the turn signals instead of the parking lights you will need to use two diodes to isolate them, as well as the relay.

well my car only has signal lights. Unlike the 02-03 models my car doesnt have parking lights. So do i still have to use diodes and relay? I just run the relay inline with the orange wire?

What i dont understand is if my lights blink when i lock/unlock the car from the factory..why would this module interupt it?

A lot more information can be found here:

http://kptechnologies.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=222

The parking light output was originally added for G35/350Z owners. In order to silence the horn you can do one of two things - 1. Go to the dealer and pay them to reprogram your BCM to not honk the horn but still flash the turn signals or 2. Hold the 'LOCK' and 'UNLOCK' buttons on the keyless remote down for a few seconds.

99% of the people choose #2 because its free, easy, and quick. However, when you this, the car will only flash the turn signals when you lock it. It will NOT flash the turn signals when you unlock it. Some people like the parking lights to flash when the vehicle has been unlocked, so we added the ability to do this through the module.

If your turn signals flash when you lock and unlock then you will not need this output at all. If you don't care if the car flashes lights at all when you lock and unlock you don't need to worry about any of this.
