FS: Steering Rack Boot Kits
Hi there:
I got a deal on some excellent quality steering rack boot kits. They are made by Snap-On and even though they are universal, the fit is really good and quality of the rubber is excellent, not thin and cheap. All you have to do is trim the inner part of the boot to fit your rack for a snug fit.
Each boot comes with the ties to keep it in place and also a really neat plastic "funnel" that allows the boot to slide over the tie rod (if you are doing this with the inner and outer tie rods still in the car) without damaging the boot.
I will sell boots individually or in pairs if you need to repair both sides. I installed a set on my Maxima before I sold it and a set on my Q45 the other weekend.
One Boot including shipping costs - $7.50
One Pair including shipping costs - $13.00
PM me if anyone needs a set of these. Protect your steering rack from moisture and dirt getting in and pitting your steering shafts. Cheaper kits sell for over $24.00 at a parts store.
Regards,
Ted
