As for the reverse lock out, do you drive a Supra or something?? lol Or do the 2002 Maxima's have reverse lockout? This shift **** does not have reverse lock out.

It should work for a 6 speed. My dad had an all silver momo **** just like this on his 02 3.5 maxima and had no problems with the reverse. If you have a shorter shifter then its questionable if it will work.

The 6 speeds actually have something you have to pull up to get into reverse. Thats why the question of if this shift **** would work came up because if the shift **** sits too low the part you pull up would hit the shift ****. But 5 speeds dont have this.
