Posted in the 7th Gen forum but I know some folks like to put the OEM wheels from other model years on their cars, so I thought I'd make these available here.
Asking $800, or best offer. I feel it's a pretty fair asking price, considering I've seen some other ads on here that list a set of OEM 18's with the stock Goodyears with two thousand miles on them and they're selling for $850. Tires alone cost me approx. $1200 two months ago. Includes set of 4 three-month old wheels, **TPMS** (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors, and almost brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires (right at 1,000K miles) from my 2010 Nissan Maxima.
The wheels are OEM Nissan rims which measure 18x8, with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and a 66.1 center bore. They are in great condition, except for one spot where the technician was careless when taking off the wheel nut and scratched the rim near the lug nut hole. I took this into consideration when deciding how much to sell them for.
The tires are Michelin Pilot Sports. The wheels have about 2,200 miles on them and the tires have right at 1,000 (I had the car for about 1,200 miles before I bought the Michelins and have since then put another 1K miles on the car/wheels/tires). Adult driven, very conservative—no burnouts, etc.
I bought the Pilot Sports to replace the stock Goodyear tires that come with the car. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires make the Maxima “drive like a Cadillac”, as my dad described it. Tires currently retail for $300 EACH at Discount Tire. This series of Michelin tire is well revered for it’s long tread life and comes with a 45,000 mile warranty. This tire also has a strong reputation for being one of the smoothest-riding tires in this segment. Check out the consumer reviews at discounttire.com
Why am I selling? I got very lucky and came across some factory accessory 19” Maxima Sport rims and tires that are replacing these 18’s. Also, I’m moving in about one month so I need to get rid of these quickly. I’ll entertain reasonable offers.
I can provide the Discount Tire receipts from when I purchased the Michelins.
I respond pretty quickly so please send an e-mail with any questions you might have.
(FYI, I also have another posting for a set of 20" rims and tires that I'm selling on behalf of my brother.)
Thanks.
