Installing the 2x3 arrays in the map lights today and they don't work. Guessing the polarity is wrong for mine. How do I reverse? The connector unplugs but you can't turn it over and plug back together. Wires are red/red and black/black. Need red/black I guess. Anyone?

Been looking to replace mismatched map lights in my 2002 and the Bayonet style bulbs off ebay didn't work, so I tossed them.

Exactly how do you get these led boards into the housing for the bayonet bulb connector? These would be shipped to 98008. Catch me today with the info (picture?) and I'll buy now.

Not sure what you're asking by how I got them in there, once the cover is off I inserted the bayonet adapter into the socket and then plugged the adapter into the LED board. Pictures are available in the write ups posted at the start of the thread, the 00-01 are almost identical to the 02-03 map lights. PM me for more info or if you'd like to set up an order. =]

Does the 5th gen kit include the lights that go just below the climate control that shine down on the shifter? and the bulb that goes behind the lettering on teh shifter gate itself?

To answer your question it doesn't include those lights, they require a bit more work (taking apart the dash etc). You would be able to source those bulbs from superbrightLEDs.com or a similar website.

 

Ok, well I am going to place an order with you then. Just PM me where to send payment and if you know what bulb # it is that will FOR SURE fit in those 2 locations I would appreciate it if you could let me know so I can order them. that is a simple thing to take apart now I know how lol. Painted the housing where the shift indicator was...mine was all sketchy looking.

Do you have any clear lenes that go on the inside of the doors for a 2005 Max?

 

I don't believe I've ever seen a lens that was completely clear. I know they make the bottom clear and the sides red as a reflector for safety reasons.
