Hey guys, I used the Sentra write-up and modified it for the A33 Maxima. I'm hoping it works well as I will be dropping off my Maxima to a shop to have this installed. If I get any feedback from the shop I'll modify the write-up as needed.
I hope this helps you guys. You can find it in the link below. I suggest saving the PDF file as I am unsure how long the link will be live.
You will have to download the link, pdf file.

Review:
Got back from my NJ trip on Sunday and picked up the car from the shop Monday. After driving it around town for about 40 minutes yesterday and this morning here is my review.
Got back from my NJ trip on Sunday and picked up the car from the shop Monday. After driving it around town for about 40 minutes yesterday and this morning here is my review.
- Install time and difficulty: It took the shop only about an hour (keep in mind they had a lift). The shop said it was about 2 out of 5 on the level of difficulty (quite easy).
- Look/Appearance (wheels & tires): product did exactly what it is supposed to do. It evened out my rear beam to have symmetry. See the attached pictures.
- Performance: I did not experience any difference in "performance" with this installed as far as handling is concerned. FYI..my suspension mods include Eibach springs, KYB GR-2 struts/shocks, a front strut toward bar, and a rear sway bar. With that said, the shop did tell me my rear tires showed uneven wear. These tires have only 5,000 miles on them so that was surprising to hear. I do think this will help my rear tires to wear more evenly.
I'm surprised to hear about uneven wear. I have a hard time connecting that with the link being off. It would still track straight assuming car properly aligned. What I would had been most interested in are the numbers off and how much the link needed adjusting to correct/center the bar. I know I had to adjust (shorten) by 3mm on the link to correct for approximately 1mm off center. My understanding is that depending on the drop/ where the rear end sits, places the link at various (individual to each car) points along the arc it travels during suspension movement. Therefore, every person will have to adjust the link more so for their car and ride height rather than actual measurement of being off center.

I do know that whenever I went for an alignment with the car prior to installing the q-link the rear would be at the outer edge of tolerances. I have to look back through my alignment records to see which tolerances.Originally Posted by Chris Gregg

I don't know what else would attribute to uneven wear on the rear end so I'm assuming it was the original link.
As far as the measurements I'll have to double-check with the shop, but considering they called me within 90 minutes of first starting the install the original measurements were good. Did you get a chance to see my write-up?
I see why you don't see much performance now since you have rear away bar which really stiff up your rear end very much. But if you take the car to auto cross with qt adjustable link on and without the link on. There will be some difference when it comes into performance.
It won't be night and day huge difference, but it will do its work or else wouldn't be sold over 500 pieces so far....

this is my drop and i have this q link installed... this is my review..
with the old link the back felt mushy and in corners felt very loose hitting sharp corners..
now with the new q link installed i feel a more solid responce in every turn..
installation was pretty simple the hardest part was getting the bolts loose cause of rust and shiznet.. i recommend installing set the car down and measure if your not saticfied with the measurements do it again..
solid product i recommend it....
