Yes this will fit. I'm running one on my 2001 which is essentially the same. You will have ton install it according to this guide

Is this plug and play for a 95 ecu or only for the 5th gen model ecu's?

 

you just have to wire it in and set it up according to dandymax' write up posted above

 

if only you had this around end of October when i have all my goodies in.. how many people run this on the 5.5? what kind of features does this offer? i'm even in IL too! =[

 

there are some that run it on the VQ35. You can check back in with me whether I still have it then. I can show you how i did mine etc. Do some research in advance performance forum. Somewhere should be a thread called "The official piggyback tuning thread" that explains the systems very well.

The reason most get it for is extended rev limiter. Got most features standalones have.
