Possible problem with Air Intake

I had installed the Frankencar intake on my 1997 5spd a couple of weeks ago and it worked great. But recently I noticed that sometimes when I shift from 1st to 2nd gear at normal throttle there is a hesitation after stepping on the gas once its in 2nd. Kind of feels like a clogged injector or bad plug but it just started happening after the intake install. It only happens between 1 and 2 and mostly at regular throttle. Has anyone ever experienced this or know the cause?

Thanks ahead of time,

boo

The problem can't be with your intake. You should recheck your hoses.
