Question about Courtesy B-pipe.

I've been looking at the stock-to-Courtesy B-pipe comparision photographs on Jeff's, MegaMax site & am wondering if this mod is a waste of money for me. If a guy has had the "crimp" removed from the stock B-pipe (which I have), is there really anything to gain by going to the Courtesy? The answer seems to me to be, no. And I have one other respected opinion (JimW) that agrees. Anyone care to comment, I'd love to hear.

Define "best".
"best combination for performance/sound". Given that you know of my adversion to all things loud. I've been in several CAI equipped cars & I honestly think that the CAI is louder than my Stillen/K&N intake. Plus I'm equally adverse to the drilling of a hole in my car. What's the deal with the Apex RS series??? Know of anywhere I can listen to a .wav file of one or anything. I'd consider one if it a) doesn't sound like a milk truck on steroids, b) gives me more than 2-4 hp, as is typical.

Re: Define
Well, the CAI is loud when you are on it... that's to be expected. But the CAI is a lot quieter than a Stillen at part throttle. As a matter of a fact, unless I get on it, my car sounds completely stock.
Best as in the best combo for power and noise pollution. The RS muffler is quiet enough for me and I hate noise. So I suspect it should be quiet enough for you. But again, I don't think you'd need it... but if you want every-last-hp-you-can-get, then yes go for it. Unless you have a rusted stock pipe, I'd let it be.

I noticed a big difference with the B-pipe...
I was really surprised at how much more "torquey" my Max felt after getting the B-pipe on. I had the HKS intake, muffler, and Stillen Y-pipe before I put on the B-pipe. My car just felt really good from idle to 4500 rpms. I improved my 1/4 mile by over 1.5mph in trap speed in the same weather. My exhaust is slightly louder, but I like it.
Do everything else first then do the B-pipe.
