Another I30 5-speed? Cool man! I must warn you though, the front lip install was very difficult and took the shop that I have my car done at took almost the whole day!

Is that your 240sx in the back too?

AS for the the I30 its the nicest I have ever seen.... You know, I wonder if a 2k I30 can have the same stillen bodykit from a 2k maxima.

The 240 in the background is my friend's one (the one that took the picture). As for the Stillen bodykit on new model I30's, you can do just about anything if you know the right shop who can do it. My car was in the shop for a while though.

the I30t has a performance feature unique to it and the Canadian Maximas...

VLSD... it's reported to be a significant performance advantage in the tight stuff (according to the SE-R guys)... I want one too, especially one that looks this good.

Yep, the 5-speed is rare on the I30. But the amazing thing was that the dealer sold me the car cheaper just because it was a 5-speed and they couldn't find anybody to buy it...I guess cuz people who usually buy Infiniti's want auto.

it probably wont, cuz it's a totally different shape. the 2k's lip contours with the round fog lamps n stuff that the max's front bumper has. why dont u try to import the jdm autech kit for it.

Re: drool....

It's off of a 97-99 Cefiro. The older Cefiro lights are different looking. Not really crystal-clear like the 97-99 ones.

Photo point

Just type the URL in your post like this {this is for my car} http://albums.photopoint.com/j/album...3884&a=9754008 then anyone can just click on the link and see all your pics.I am picking my I30 up tomarrow nite !!!! I can't wait.About upgrading your tail lights try a junk yard and you will get the whole thing for $200 ish.I think the 99 Limeted I30's got a special tail light assembly which is a little different then the other years,I will get that for my I30 first.I had a question does your car have VLSD? Or is that only available on Autos. Thanks

Don't use photopoint. Use http://www.zing.com they don't have a banner when you link photos like photopoint.

What parts exactly would be involved in adapting the cefiro lights to my 97 Max? Estimated cost? I am thinking hood, front fenders, and bumper cover...

CLEAR TAIL LIGHTS FOR I30 (~96)
go to Cheston's website
http://www.maximadriver.com

go to HOW2 on the left handside..

go to Clear out your Tail lights.....

With patience and right tools (heatgun, etc)...
I think it would take you a little bit over 2 hr to do it..

Good luck

Yes pretty much.. except for da Hood.. too heavy to ship.. I used an I-30 Hood..
pls post your tail-lights after you clear them.. I think it would really look sweet on a WHITE I30...

So how much did it cost just for the parts? BTW the Cefiro front end looks pretty sweet! What if I just wanted to add the I30 front end? Cheaper?

Max to I30
if you can get all the parts cheaper.. I think you are still looking at about $3.5k+?? range with the body work and painting (u should check with your local body shop if you know any):

2fenders
hood
grille
headlights
foglights+corner lights
bumper
bumper support (I changed mine.. check wid ur body shop.. u may be able to use the max's?)

I recommand u to get Cefiro headlights if u are really going to do that..(H-4's with build-in City lights=sweet looking +Good visibility)

Since the Cefiro and the I30 basically share the same body, the Cefiro headlights bolted right in. There will have to be modification to the hood, front fenders and maybe the bumper of the Maxima because there is a size and shape difference between the two cars' headlight shape (mainly the corner part)

Sounds about right, so how much was it for you to import the cefiro lights? I can only imagine what it would cost to get a shop to put them in, but i think they would look good with a Max front end too.
