Squeaky wheels at startup?????

Everytime I drive my car right after I start it...the axles? make a high pitched sqeel. Its anoying as hell. It does this up until about 10 mph then stops. Does anyone know what this could be or how to fix it? I already tried searching...I just need a straight explaination.

THanks Guys - Chad

I have the same annoying problem, only mine does it up to about 25-30 mph. I am almost positive its coming from my warped front rotors. I am replacing them soon which should solve the problem.

It's your brakes that are squeaking, not your axels. Have them looked at, you may need new pads.

Yes, its the brakes. Might not be your pads though. I just replaced my pads like 2 months ago, and mine squeek bad. I know its warped rotors. I feel that they are warped when I brake hard, they shake.

For new Nissan rotors I think it would run you about $80-$100 a wheel. My sisters boyfriend owns a junkyard, so Im gonna get a set of rotors that are in good shape from him. You should post that you want to buy a pair, Im sure someone is selling theirs. Thats what I might end up doing too.
