It looks tight. Like the Audi and VW. How does the wiring work? Do you have to drill a hole through the roof? I might just shave my factory antenna =)

 

those thing don't fit a stock antenna.

It came from Germany from the VW's.. The cost was $360 and the install was simple and straight forward. Drill 0.75" hole in the roof, rip out the roof lining, run wires to your dash radio and your all set. Click on my sig pic and you can see my Fuba Antenna on my max.

Here's my Exea antenna... just two sided tape that holds pretty well. It's also adjustable, meaning you can have it straight or tilt it down (30 degree tilt). Cost me about $25.

No drilling required, but I don't recommend going through auto car washes with that thing on.

I got mine at some speed shop while visiting my sis in Las Vegas. Cost me 8 bucks. Its just a stick on, its just for looks, but me thinks it looks pretty damn good!

Did I read somewhere that my Bose-equipped '99 SE has 2 antennas in it, one on the rear fender and one in the rear glass or something? If so, anyone ever disconnect the ugly one from the fender and rely on the glass only? IMHO, the rear fender antenna makes the car look cheap when up.

My 8 or so dollars are burning to get one. I am very eager for the black one like you have. Ill even pay ya 15 dollars jsut s oyou can buy one from where ever you got yours and send it to me in the mail.

 

nissan diversity antenna, disconnecting the fender one nd relying on the one in the window wouldnt be good. In fact itd only work good if you lived in the flats where no trees are. Other than that the fender one is still the best to use. I think they both rely on each other somewhat but I dont know how. so leaving it the way it is would be the better deal.

 

How come having badges from other cars are rice, but when we get a fake antenna it is accepted?

We are not trying to be what we're not... does that answer your question? Having the correct badges is not... but having the wrong ones IMHO is.
