Looks good! I really like how you took a pic through-out your ownership. It looks soo much better than when you bought it! Keep up the good work!

Car looks tight. Why did you add the wind guard? Did you notice lower noise with it? I couldn't tell so I took mine off.

Looks good Lime! Looks like how it should have come from the factory. Subtle, but elegant.

Thanks. I'm not into tricking cars out too much visually. I would have liked to buy different wheels, but I can't afford them. I'd rather have those wheels and better tires. Anyway, the car will never have a body kit or big wing because it's a performing car, not a show car.

Re: argh

So what do you think of the B&Gs compared to the H&Rs? Which will you keep?

The B&G's are physically beefier looking, even. The ride is more "sports car" oriented. There is no smooth "luxury car" feel. No rebound on bumps...you just...go over the bump...it's sooo much better! There's no way I'd give up these springs voluntarily!

thanks!!

I had the unfortunate chance to test my setup on reallly really bad road conditions today. I went to visit my dad and he neglected to mention that they were resurfacing his road. Well, auto-x style going between raised manhole covers, and going 15mph on horrid road surfaces...well the car was ok. I also go to do a decent higway trip on the new setup as well. The car was ok! Everything is so much nicer with this setup. No bouncies!

(FYI, 2f/4r AGX settings)

You Max is a HE ?

Nice drop....
Hoping to do mine before the summers out.
Got my AGX sitting at home...just waiting to get springs.
I too decided to keep my stock 16's and got a set of Bridgestone Potenza's a couple weeks ago....

If a maxima can be sexy, there it is right there. I'm a big fan of the clean stock SE look - especially looks nice in dark colors (but after keeping one dark car clean for a while, I couldn't do it again). I wish I had your suspension...the stock sedany bouncies are wearing on me

Yes, Max is a HE! How could I love him if he were a girl...I don't get along with girls very well.

Aww thanks for the great compliments, guys! If locals need help with installs, drop me a PM or something. I have the torque specs MEMORIZED, ffs lol.

Now I know what my car will look like next weekend. I've got my B&Gs and AGX sitting in the garage, plus I've got the same color max. I was going to install them sunday, but there was local AutoX going on, so we went to that instead.

Can't wait, I love the look

are you auto or stick? if stick, is there sagging in the rear? and when i finally get a 97+ max, its gonna look just like that. seriously.

B&G vs. H&R

Could you elaborate on the difference a bit? I have the same car (and color) as yourself with the stock SE suspension. I have auto. I am going to get AGX's and either H&R or B&G or MAYBE Sprint's.. Having trouble making the decision. I love the drop on the B&G and hear the H&R's are fairly bouncy, although i'm sure it's nothing like the stock SE suspension. However, I have to put up with some bad roads pretty often and have to do a lot of freeway driving (put on 16000 miles in the last 9 months). I'm not auto-X'ing, just looking for some fun driving through the mountains, etc.. Suggestions?

Thanks..

no, the a$$-end isn't sagging at all. My car is (unfortunately) a stock auto except for a larger B&M tranny cooler.

The ride is somewhat harsh on rough roads, but I don't fear the bounciness like I did with the H&R's. If you like a softer, yet firm compared to OEM SE, try AGX set on like 1/3 with H&R's perhaps.

The B&G's are a lot closer to a full-on sportscar suspension than the H&R's available for the Maxima. TOo bad they don't make a more advanced stage for the Max...I like H&R, being a Porsche lover hehe.
