1.Alright, so say u have like half clear/red tailights, and someone rear ends u? Would u be @ fault for any reasons 'cause they are NOT STOCK lights in the back?

2. Say u have mods done to your car, y pipe and intake and u get in an accident, will your insurance company pay up for that? I don't thnik they would, they could say, they didn't know they were insuring x y z modifications and scew u over?

3. Driving at night, and u have colored bulbs in the front, say blue inthe corners, or i have red for example. If i get in a front on accident, or with the side of another car, could i be responsible for not having the correct light colors?!?

Anyone had to deal wiht this? thanx for your responses!!

lenses

lenses dont matter as long as the light emmitting from them is amber-orange for turn.... you better make sure your -
aux lights ( show lights) arent the color of an emergency vehicle - you can get a ticket for imitating an emergency vehicle.....

if the cops give you a hassle about lenses dont say anything to them - take the fix it ticket to the barracks and show them you have DOT approved lenses =)

you guys should really get your mods insured

you guys speed alot of money on your mods and the insurance company will not pay you for it if it gets damaged in an accedent. i have my stereo insured if its stolen or if someone hits me from behind and it stops working, even if i wasn't in an accedent and it just stops working i get a nice check. my monthly payments go up to but still.

when i put my stereo on my insurance it only went up by $10, and they valued it at $2500.
you guys are puting $1000 and more in mods on your car i'm sure you can afford an extra $10.

so in answer to your post no the insuranse will not pay you for you mods. unless you have nationwide insurance and you add an amp to the factory stereo then they will replace the amp. if you get a new headunit though its not covered.
