As anyone upgraded their entire suspension system with a racing kit that lowers and has a smooth ride to it. As i understand changing the springs to lower the vehicle will lead to a very uncomfortable ride in the city.

There is a complete coilover system avaiable @ http://www.cattman.com

Ground Control also offers coilover springs, but no dampers.

Make sure you do a search of the messages, there is mucho help there!

Hey Patrick, I just changed my suspension. I put in H&R lowering springs and Tokico performance shocks. The ride is not too much worse, a tad bit more bumpy, but not too bad at all. The performance is ALOT better, and it looks much better as well.

Thanks for the pictures, explainning your car to a friend of mine. Told him how tight it was, mentioned you were going to lower it. I know she is really tight now, can't wait to see it at the Haines Point/Convention center gathering. I spoke to someone at http://www.ground-control.com about there complete coil-over package, but they were having problems and had to recall. I did check out cattman's set..$1500.00.

I have the same setup. On smooth roads, the ride is fine. But once it gets bumpy, well I hope you don't have the low ceiling due to the sunroof cuz you're gonna be hitting your head on it on every bump. Just kidding. But the ride is pretty lousy even with H&R/Tokico (considered the most comfortable combination of ride/handling). I think it has to do more with 17" rims than the suspension though.
