Thanks everyone. No pics of the girl... but your not missing much, dont worry.

And a HUGE thanks to Ant (MaineI30) for setting this up. As some of you guys know he is a PR guy so he wrote a whole release about my site and gave it to all the local news stations and papers. Portlands biggest paper picked it up, so thats really cool. I went out and bought 7 copies of the paper

Wow man that is awesome!

I'm 15 and I design webpages, just for my own personal hobby. I'm planning on going out and getting a job that involves web design. And reading that article, I think I may do it in the next month or so!

Start up your own design company. You'll make more money and you only have to work as much as you want.
95emeraldgxe- I got my money from the web design company

Congrats. So you design web pages? How much money do you make? I'm asking cuz I've been doing sites for about 3 years now, but I never really made money off it. Heres my portfolio http://alex.iwebland.com ... the pop-ups suck, damn free hosting. And do you make any money off that Maine Street site? I gotta get some money for a 5 speed maxima

Those sites look pretty good on your portfolio... why havent you made any money? There was an article in the Wall Street Journal about how there are so many kid webdesigners who are pretty much being taken advantage of because they dont know how to charge. Be up front with your clients, thats what i do. I charge everyone $25 an hour, which is a really good price, and is more than any other job i could get.
I do get some money from Maine-Street but not enough. It just about coveres the cost of keeping the site up. Plus i just had tshirts made so now I am 500 in the hole

Yeah I just never really got around to making sites for money. How do you find places that need a web page? Do you call people or how does that work?
