hi-
I was just wondering if 300zx wheels were a direct bolt on. I mean the offset and every thing. I think they might look good on my tan max. What do you guys think? If any one has the 300zx wheels E mail me with ur thought or postem. Mike(sk8brd80@aol.com

WOW

hi-
Did you do that on photoshop or is that a real pic. It look cool. Se here is my thought behing wanting the 300 zx wheels. Right now I have a set of nice looking eagle wheels( Series 160)with 215/45/17's on them. The only thing that I do not like it that it takes away from the "grown up" look of my max and it looks like every other honda with rims. I also think the smooth ride that made me buy the max in the first place might come bacl a little with the bigger side walls of the 16" z wheels. With the combo of lowering springs/stock struts and 17" wheels with 45 series tires I feel like im in my old 90' integra with 125k miles.

Just make sure you get the wheels from a N/A Z, and not the TT version. The TT uses wider wheels in the back that will rub.

The TT rear rims also have different offset.

I just had my '86 300ZX Turbo rims on my '93 SE this morning. Looked cool - like one size bigger stock wheels, but the offset is 10mm more than the stock wheels so they stick out (not to mention they are 16x7). I'm not sure if it will affect handling adversely, but if the Max rims would have gone on my Z I would be driving the Max around with the rims on. Hafta find another set and see I guess. It looked very nice with the 50 series tires.

I would really like to find a set of '97+ SE rims though like Craigs - that looks sweet.
