Up coming Exhaust Mod
Well gang, I've been thinking about the least expensive way to have a 3" exhaust when I run N2O and I finally found a cool solution!
Presently, I have a 3" system down to and including the cat. The rest of the system, mid-pipe, 2 resonators, and a performance muffler are all 2 1/2" Yesterday I found a web site (www.quicktimeperformance.com) that sells an electrically operated exhaust cutout. Their kit includes the 3" electric flange, a flowtech
3" exhaust cutout, and an electric operating switch that can open and close the flange in increments. To this I will swap out the 2 1/2 " resonator pipe that is right behind the cat, with a 3" one and place the cutout behind this. What I like is you can immediately open your exhaust part or full way with a switch. Besides racing, one could be at a drive in or cruise in and open the flange and sound like you're running a big time modified motor. Mark one up for the all show and no go guys in the club!!
