Frankencar Updates

Ok, here's the latest on my backorder problem. i got in 6 apexi filtes and 40 k/n's today and 25 more k/n are on the way and prolly moer apexi's if these move out. mattsy is shipping out 20 tomorrow and we have more 4th gen intakes almost done and then we should be caught up for a while. we have about 4 apexi's left, pricing will be 185 shipped for the full intake setup. reason is that the apexi's are more then twice as much as a k/n and they need a special adapter piece to make them work. i will be taking email and the first people will get them.

$60??? I thought originally you were quoting them at $25? I remember there where supposed to be plastic.

Is the price increace because it will now include tubing for fresh air?

there was a little confusion between me and my fabricator. the plastic ones would require a mold and a LARGE LARGE run of them but the price would be lower but when i say large i'm talking like 1000+. the aluminum will be more but i can get like 100 at a time.

I'm pretty sure they are done....a couple people on the boards have them...but don't take what I say as gospel....I'm just an outsider.

Yeah, I've been waiting a month (today). Paid on the 15th of July, no emails back yet. Getting a little frustrated by the lack of customer service, but I'm willing to chill on Steve a bit.

I just think a response (I know he gets a ton of email) of a few words would be nice (especially if they have a good tracking system for when they send their orders out).

I feel you on this one. This seems to be the way things go in general. For example, I am still also waiting on Apex-i WS from BERK TUNINC. Bryan Min, where is my catback???

This is making me lose some faith on the accountability of the smaller performance vendors.

I spoke to Steve on Saturday and he told me he had 75 intakes completed so I believe a flood of shipments should be going out as I speak.
