Here is the list of everyone who has converted to 5-speed
i didn't want to go through all 9 pages, but i was just curious, how many are happy they converted and how many people regret converting....i've pondered doing this, but don't know what major problems people have run into...thanks

Replacing the auto ECU with the 5spd ECU gets rid of the CE-L light and that brief high idle. The 5spd ECU allows the car to revv much freer (sp?) below 2000rpm.
If you want your cruise control back, you have to swap the auto harness out for the 5spd engine harness. Or you could ghetto rig it.
Swapping in the 5spd ECU/Harness for the auto ecu/harness will make your car 100% like a factory 5spd.
how hard is it to ghetto rig it? can't i just ghetto rig a park neutral safety switch to the hand brake? that way the ecu won't think the car is park right??? would that take care of it?
