The price range on these lil -Benzes are 29,950 to $36,950.

The 3.2 is 215HP. You can also get the car in a 6spd (which I prolly can't use that well for starters) or a 5spd auto, and RWD Its curb wieght is about 3400Lbs?

I is300 I was looking at added up to about $35 before TTL.

Hom much Comp for a 4th gen or 5th Max? However MB is MB

they look like s-classes which is cool. the 3.2 can go up to 45k and is not offered with 6-spd; only the 4-banger

ok

Benz is Benz right.. fine
The ONLY reason i HATE benz is cuz they are OVERPRICED !!!

fine built cars just not worth the money...
the new "C" class is a baby or "mini me" version of the redesigned "S" class..

The max will beat any version of of the "C" class..
whether it be C230 auto or 5spd or C320..
the C320 will be very close tho .. VERY close.. still an auto 4th gen max like mine will edge it out..

you kidding right??
$29k-$36k is just numbers on paper.
If you load a C320 up reasonably not fully, it hits low 40's very easily.

don't forget the charges for services. buying the car is a 1 price deal, the upkeep is going to hurt for the average joe. these car can run forever with proper services, but so can nissans and other brands. my opinion only

I drove my ex g/f c-class a bunch of times

It was nicer/quieter/smoother/much more refined than the Maxima, but it was NOT faster by any means. When I mashed in the accel.pedal the car made this hissing noise(maybe it would have sounded awesome with a CAI?)

Engines are 2.6 Liter V6, this may be the not so fast one you were in. C240, and the other option is a 3.2 V6, 215hp, c320

Transmissions: 6 sped manual, and 5 speed automatic. No 4 bangers.

Published price range was $29,950 to $36,950 as per 2001 new cars guide. I think the 3.2 with the 6 spd should be very swift?

You think the is300 would be a better value for a perfomance sedan?

you got me phil..
i should have said my wimpy lil NA 3.0L will just barely edge out the C320 and will beat the C240 regardless of which tranny the C240 has... now if the C320 came with a manual tranny than it would edge out my lil NA 3.0L motor ..

C43.. good bye max..i saw one run at etown this summer.. couple of kids with mommys C43, M3, and 528
C43 ran 14.3
M3 ran 14.4
528 ran 16.0

those c series benzes are so overpriced u get nothing for the money i would never pay over 30k for that car with any engine and the amg version is like 45k to start, just my opinion, but if i could afford i get the 500sl those a real nice. and have alot of ballz.

because speed ain't the only thing when it comes to cars
Audi is not a Benz, just like Benz isn't a Bentley
