i read on the Koni website not to overadjust. i would like a setting that gives optimum performance, but just want to know what settings you guys are running. if you've had koni's for some time now, what setting did you finally stick with.

thanks

I turned them to the hardest setting(all the way till it stopped) and then backed off one quarter turn. Some may say this is hard, however, I like the feel a lot better.

I only set mine once and left it.

I have it as stiff as you can get it in the back. (which is just a tad too stiff for most people, but fine for me)

And about 1 turn or half-turn from full stiffness in the front.

Don't worry too much about the front. Just make sure you get the back struts set good the first time so you don't have to pull them off and try again.

You can adjust fronts when ever you want.

i'm thinking about having the rears set

to 3 half-turns out of 5 to start with. the fronts i'll play around with until i hit the right setting. are the rears supposed to set stiffer or softer than the fronts? i'm guessing this would have a big impact on understeer/oversteer. BTW i saw this website where they could convert koni shocks from internally adjustable(like the rears) to externally adjustable like the fronts(like the fronts), but i'm sure this will cost a lot of $$$. now if we could only get the struts shortened somehow...

Set the rear stiffer than the fronts.

About one turn from full stiffness in the back would be good. I think.

I would like to say, your car looks tasteful and not too tacky. I only wish that I had not removed my pin stripe off mines. The front door passenger side seems to have an extra coat of clear coat or something, you can see the lighter paint area of the pin stripes, I will try to get a pic of what I am saying. It is not that bad far away, but noticeable about 10-15 fts away from it. I have no idea why this is there.

I set my rears to 3/5 half turns. Perfect for me (not too stiff, reacts well). The fronts right now are at 4/5, a little on the stiff side but I can deal with it. Dialing the fronts back down are cake, the rears are a pain.

I have H&Rs.

i just read the article on overboost.com

they installed the AGX's on an avenger. they said its good to set the rear about 1 setting less than the fronts to help keep the rear stable in emergency situations. i'm about to go order my koni's, i just can't wait that long for the AGX's, plus the sprint springs should be coming soon. i wil be using the ingalls camber bolts and let you guys know how the setup feels.
