Check engine light is on
After getting my car back from the body shop for some minor repairs after getting stuck on a tree stump, the check engine light is on. the dude there told me i should take it to nissan to have the code checked. he said it was because a fuse blew somewhere, and that they replaced it. so do you think i can just kill teh battery or should i take it to nissan and have them check it>?

I would read the code first:

A search for the code number should reveal an answer as to how to repair. If not, just throw a reply up with the code and we'll attempt to help.
Initially, I would avoid a dealer visit.

go to autozone and have the code pulled for free..
Jeez, whats been going on around here. Everyone seems to have a SES light on and they want a resolution before the code is even read.
It only takes a couple of minutes to have the code read and then you will know what the problem is. Then you can come here with the problem and we can try to give you an educated answer. Im not aiming this at you Magnum. Just in general, I have seen alot of these types of threads lately.
