I'm just curious, but where did everyone come up with their screen name? There are some pretty interesting ones on the .org, so I'm guessing that there could be some intersting stories behind them...mine isn't. :-)
Well I was in a hurry to get signed up so I kept putting down names that were already taken, so I just typed "Maxima" then "06071" my zipcode at the time(Somers,CT).
I'll probably change it someday so I can be reborn as a Newbie...
or a "I finally posted something"...

SuDZ I got in like 7th grade from programming. I could not use my real name or identity on them so I made up SuDZ. It then fell over from there and was used on some other computer activities then was used by my friends as a nickname. It actually now has showed up in the credits of a few CD's instead of my real name and some other music stuff. I think I am stuck with it now. Thats okay though. I like it , most of my friends call me SuDZ and it is better than some other nickname someone may have come up with.

It was originally my nick on IRC in '96. It's funny when I hear people say it in movies and songs, like one by the Spice Girls.

"Chebosto" pronounced "Che-Boss-Toe"

comes from a nickname my sister gave me when i was 6. We were watching Geraldo Rivera on his talk show and we were pretending to be our own talk show hosts.

so. take Cheston. And add and ending like Geraldo's and get
Chebosto.

then end.
