well, the Ice is still on the ground here. Melting, but will make for a *LLLLOOOOOONGG* drive tomorrow. And I might have to wait til noon to head out because it will refreeze tonite. Mostly I'll be dodging fender bergs and those HUGE boulders that drop off the semi's, those things can to $$$$ damage. we are expecting more sleet tonite, but the temps will be in the 40s by the afternoon.

Is this affecting anyone else's plans? I know dallas is clear now but what about the OK peeps?

I shouldnt have any trouble

but I didnt know about OK. I know there were like 20% of the peeps coming from there. I wish my max could clear more than 6" tho. Even in stock form, the maxima is a snow plow.

Does the P-finder have 4wd? If so, you should take it.

nope...

its a poser-mobile... it only snows here once every 3-4 years, I never thought I'd need it, and I could just pocket the extra $4000... well, now we've had 2 big storms this year. go figure.

In my defense, I have had it offroad. Didnt need 4x4, but needed lots of clearance, and the PF was great to have. Still, I'm a loser for not getting the 4x4.

Well if there's no 4X4, the max is probably safer to take if it was snowing or icing over.

Damn amazon STILL have not shipped my camera... looks like we might not get to play with it this weekend. bastards.

yeah, that 2wd PF is a handful on the slippery stuff.

Bummer on the cam.. I can bring you that old DC120 laying around here somewhere I am bringing my DC280 so if a cam is needed...

hey, can you shoot me an email with your celery phone #? Not sure exactly when I'll be getting in. Din still on if I get in before 6 or 7-ish (Friday)?

Online ordering will be the death of me. what I save will be totally ofset by the heart medication I will need getting all bent every time they delay/misship/screw up my orders.

hey, I've been getting calls from Insight/egghead/buy.com and so forth, assigning me to corporate account managers. One offered me 200 less on a Toshiba laptop than anywhere online (insight). If your deal falls thru, let me know, I'll make some calls for you on that 990. They do seem to be able to come down on their prices via the phone.

WarpSpeedPerformance is on the way

My brother(Dallas) just pulled into St. Cloud tonight, says the roads are bad south of Kansas City. It took him several hours longer than the usual 12 hr trip. We have a pickup load of WarpSpeed pipes to display and dyno. I will be flying in to Dallas tomorrow night. Kaleb has offered to pick me up. Dallas (brother) should roll in about 9-10 am on Saturday. Just in case of travel problems, I will hand carry 3 y-pipes and a Carsound cat. so we can start dynoing. We are really looking to putting faces with names. Personally I am looking forward to getting out of a very cold snowy Minnesota, and not having to work my regular job this weekend. We should have dyno results posted by Sunday night.

I was hoping to gear up in the morning and come from EL Paso, Texas, though I hear the roads are icy, and would hate to get stuck with my pregnant wife, eeek!

Is it bad?
