modding and car payments

Just curious to know if any of you guys here paid for your maxima's in full before you started to mod them, or if your still paying the loan/lease (loan more so, I would think) while you mod them? I would take a guess to say that a lot of the 5th gen owners here are still paying their car payments? Maybe some 4th gens? Yes? No?

Yep, I've done plenty of modding, and Maxine won't be paid off until August 2004 (5yr loan on a '99).
