I think my oil leak is gone for good

Remember I insisted on having it checked before I hit 60k and the dealer put on the invoice no leak at this time? I suspected that they actually fixed something because 1,000 miles later there was the same amount of oil. Now 4,000 miles later the oil still hasn't gone down. I had to suffer for over a year with them saying there was no leak, yet always the dipstick would be lower after 1000-1500. I'm glad it's fixed, but too bad they didn't admit to it or say what the problem was. Who knows how many others dont' check it that carefully and may be losing oil? Hopefully not many.

My oil leak has slowed. Well I never had evidense of a leak that would yield 2 quarts every 3000 miles. but it has slowed since I went from 5w30 to 10w30. But I'm still nervous about taking it to Infiniti because I know they'll charge me 800 bucks to fix "something"...
