(Long Post) How to build a NOPI Nationals Street Machine PART ONE
This year, Ballistic Unlimited turned this 2000 Mazda Protege ES into a street machine. Heres how they did it..
Step 1: Install the Body Kit
The guys at Body Pros are test fitting and trimming the front flares.
The rear flares had to be cut out for the rear doors to work properly.
The new one-piece rear bumper is fitted into place.

This is the car with the kit installed.

Step 2:Install the Stereo
Stage one in creating a killer sound system is building a custom-fitting speaker box of 3/4-inch MDF board bound with wire screen for strength.

Final shaping is accomplished inside the Ballistic shop.
.
Next the killer Kenwood power amps were fitted into place

Step 4: Install Your Stuff
After a fresh coat of paint was applied on August 6th the Ballistic crew re-assembled the springs, wheels, tires, and just about everything else on August 9th
Step 5: Get Going

Get the thing on the road!
Step 6: Get Sponsered

Nice
Nice pics, I'd love some more details on actual mod's but uh most of em seem to be covered. I'm a little confused why a NOPI driver would want the weight of a stereo in his car, but either way. Nice pics, makes me wanna go try fiberglassing my trunk again (guh).

Hmm...really nice, but what does this have to do with Maxima? If Ballistic Unlimited have a new products for the Maxima, then I'm all ears. And about the comment about "Roadkill Uglies like this", I think you need more than just
· Monster Flow Intake and Air Cleaner
· Bosal stainless steel cat-back exhaust.
