to sell or not to sell

ok dilema! I was browsing through my local paper when i came across a 95 se 5spd for sale sunroof pwr everything etc new clutch 141k etc only prob is dent on the hood that supposedly cant be pulled out. now i am 16 my 89se is the first car i have owned i payed for most of it myself and it is under my moms name cause im not old enough to hav it in my own. so should i frantically try and sell my car at the risk of some financial strain and my mom not liking me anymore. i think it sounds like a good idea! opinions?
ps i dont quite no how to drive stick very well

who'd pay for the 4th gen?
can you or your mom afford it?
Have you checked insurance rates? If I were you I'd learn to drive stick first, then save up for a car you can afford.
If it's in her name, you can't sell it without her permission anyways.

Don't waste your money at your age. You have alot of time to have fun and enjoy the good life. Plus, I hope you realize what a good car a 89SE is. Are you kidding me, when my grandpa was looking at a Maxima in 1990 I remember trying to read the hard copy of Edmunds and we got into whether a SE was worth it or not. Dang that was a long time ago, but I remember thinking that is an awesome car.

You are correct to respect your mom and care what she thinks. Now get ready to chase women this fall at school and hit the books!

3K is a very good price given that the engine and transmission is in good condition. some parts need to be replaced for sure because its only $3000. but how much do you think you can sell your maxima?

Pros - 3k '95 5/Spd

Cons - May need work, financial strain and mom won't talk to you.

Yeah, thats a tough decision.
