Adding an extra bench-seat on a 4runner...

Hi guys, I need your help and ingeniuity... I am trying to to help my friend fit an extra seat in the back his Toyota 4Runner. This requires custom work because it's not an option at all when purchasing it brand new from the dealers. If we were to find the seat (2-person bench seat) that fit in the back where we want them to... what's the best way in goin about installing them? I suggested that we drill the seats in. Would this be enough to secure the seat in? I would just like to know your thoughts about this and any opinions or advise u can share. Thanks!

Uhhhh, where would the folks in the 3rd row seat put their LEGS? They'd have to lay them out in front of them, would they not? Doesn't *quite* seem like it would work well with a 3rd row seat.

And yes this is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off topic.

Count down to lock...5...4...3...

not to mention little things, like safety. Will he also install seat belts for them? How will they get in and out? Will he install them rear-facing or forward? And DON'T EVER put a kid back there...

on another note, do posts in threads that get locked/deleted still count toward overall posting numbers
