Boost Controller or Body Kit?
#3
I can bet you he doesn't have a turbo. It's another one of those Sprint misteries. He's trying to see who will notice that he want's a boost controller. If you did get the turbo Sprint than make sure you get the UDP and RSTB so you can have all the useful mods.
Sorry Sprint I had to!

Mr. Masterlock if you have Boost get a boost controller, but if you dont have not boostie boost I dont think you would need one, get a kit instead!!Besides how much does a boost controller cost!!

here is my dilema.. i figure i can run around on 5 PSI for now.. since its only a month.. and the body kit will look hot.. so i am leaning towards the body kit kinda..
here you go kevy

I am leaning towards B because it will match my JVC SH-99

get the bodykit. I just installed the front lip yesterday and the rest of the kit is going on later today. But while my car was parked I couldn't stop looking at it. And when your driving around town it's uncanny how your car will feel faster. Must be the aerodynamics.

Doesn't the Tial wastegate come with a .6 bar spring? That's a little over 8 psi's. If that's the case, go with the body kit... 8 should be plenty for a while.

why not just get a manual BC until you start boosting higher?? then you can have both a BC and a body kit. and plus aren't you using a external wastegate, shouldn't there be a spring included for about 7-8psi setting??

What are you going to do with a boost controller...oh wait don't you need one of those things to control the amount of Boost fluid running through the turbo. Which reminds me I need to check my boost fluid I think I am running low.
Flashy boost controllers = Riceboy
Go see what all the big dogs run, HKS EVC-EZ
11psi on an external ?
What external and what size ?
The tial 40mm has an 14lb spring.

Second I have a daily driver
1999 ****-ro-let malibu, fully loaded.
Right Kevin a 35mm with a .6 bar would give him 8.4psi of boost though, he said he is running 11psi.
Unless of course he is running a Turd-blow-netics Delta-BlowMyMotorUpPlease-gate Wastegate, in that case we have nothing to worry about.
Sprinty, you've been owned.

So you want to run 11psi when you get a turbo.
You still haven't said what tial you have ????

I say the body kit. I would keep the turbo around 5 psi for the first month or so to make sure everything on the install was working properly. This would also give you ample time for any additional tuning or mechanical tweaking of the turbo system. The extra time will also allow the weather to get a little cooler so when you make the jump to 11 psi the detonation monster will be less likely to show his beady little eyes.
