Injen Group Buy Update

I picked up my car today @ Injen Tech. I spoke w/them about a group deal and what they are going to do for max. forum members is set us up a one of their distributers and when someone calls in and mentions the forum they will be given the discount. They also told me that they want to know a rough # of intakes we could use to quote me the price. I assume right @ $200. plus shipping(6.95-^) If we come up w/25 or more then the price will go down a few bucks. You won't find a better intake on the market or a company more reputable. Injen make most of the intakes that you all have heard of for honda/acura and the products get sold with a different sticker. How many other companies are out there with multiple buildings for R&D/ Shipping/ Fabrication/Metal Polishing/ Etc. I imagine there are a bunch , but none of them only make 1 product. Dyno results will be posted for my 95 se 5speed and they speak for themself. Interested ? Let me know!!

btw :I got a speeding ticket one my way home racing a Ruosh Racing Mustang V6.78 in a 45. Ouch!

Did you beat the Mustang? Did you get a speed contest ticket? How much was it for?

I smoked his ***! We both got pulled over by a female motorcycle cop. She asked me if I knew why I got pulled over and I said I was speeding. She was actually really cool and did not write me up for my windows or not having a seatbelt on! She clocked me @73 in a 50 (approx.1/8 mile) and him @ 65 so she wrote us both up @ 65 in a 50 and let us go.No contesting of speed (Thank God! I've had 1 in my VW Bug) I guess my complimentary intake from inen will end up costing me about 175 bucks.

I really like the INjen intake, but after several severe rainfalls in Toronto Canada, i am totally scared of hydrolock..

Is there anyway you can ask about the Injen intakes and water injestion??

Second, is the Injen filter oil based? Will it cause damage to my 2k2 MAF..

I'm waiting to hear from Alex @ Southwest Autoworks. He's checking with Injen to see what the lowest price he get the intakes for is.

there is little to no chance of hydrolock unless you regularly drive through FEET of water. Search on INJEN and read what others have to say about it... people have really punished it (uncarriage wash) and no water... but search is a friend if you don't believe me.

Kellen sent me an email saying that since the price that he can offer isn't much cheaper that adventon.com's price, I should look for a better deal. People have posted that they got theirs for $200! Can someone tell me where I can get my injen for that price?

Thanks,
Jason

420MAX, can you talk to Injen to see if they'll get CARB certification? I'm not buying an intake unless it's got CARB.

Why didn't my Injen Intake come with a C.A.R.B. sticker?
Injen Technology applies for C.A.R.B. certification. Due to the way the process works, we are not able to determine how long it takes to
obtain approval. The intake systems that do not come with a C.A.R.B. sticker are usually pending.
