Need help with slicks

I found some slicks for my car. I am planning on putting them on the stock 15" wheels I have laying around. The size of the slicks I found are 23/7/15. Will these fit correctly or are they too small? Someone please let me know. I know I read somewhere that an optimal size would be to go with a 15", but I don't remember the size they suggested for a 4.10 gearing.

they are 23" in dia., 7 in wide., and go on a 15" rim. I had read somewhere that an optimal size was smaller than standard 26" diam. and 15" rim for a .410 ratio. I tried searching but found nothing.

Re: Need help with slicks

After doing the math those tires will give you a final gear close to 3.9-4.0. Looks like you've found a match.

Thank you. What formula did you use?
