Figured out what was wrong with my car! (Bad recall work strikes again!)

Hey folks I don't know if you can racall me compalining about my car having intermetent power losses or not. But the story goes... Almost daily my car would suffer from a strange and very nitciable power loss. And on occasion my car would go into a limp mode. So yesterday I was looking at my gas pedal getting ready to try to swap it with a 2002 HLSD(rahter then my AE pedal) and I noticed that my stinkin gas pedal stopper was extmerly loose! It was wobeling about and not screwed doewn properly. It saws effecting my car and making it not even go WOT. After screwing the stopper in I gained about 3mm of pedal travell. I noticed the differnce emmediatly, now my car feels really alive now! I can't wait to get back on a dyno now, maybe even today I will go

Anyhow I can caulk this problem up to poor "repair" work at my dealer. The mechanic must have had it out for me that day or maybe he just forgot how to tighten bolts If you recall on that very same day I had my transverse link reacall done and I later found out that a few bolts where complety lose.

emax95, speaking of recalls.. I think you're missing the rubber gaskets on your HIDs (from your sig pic). No 2k2s have them, but they might get you some if you ask. Keeps your engine bay alot cleaner and hood vibration down.

that was for the hood TSB, right? If so, you have to tell them your hood flutters at high speed, or with a stong headwind. Then they'll do it.
