would these look ghey

Boys and Girls,

Long time no see. I'm trying to come back...

So hey..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1857620140

Would these look decent on my i30? I'm looking for something nice but not too showy. Not wanting to spend a ton of cash. Want decent cornering and traction, and at least passable on snow.

thanks guys

Those would look a little close to stock, so most people wouldnt notice it unless they are an I drivers

Have you thought about the projector I30 lights, in black or white

I dont want to spend a bunch of cash right now, so I'm looking for a decent deal and something that looks nice, and can go through the winter OK but mostly be good-performing n dry and wet as well. that's why i thought that g35 set might be nice.

I think they'd look very luxurious on your car. I personally like the 5-spoke ones better from the Sport Package, but those are nice too. You think that guy put enough shiny stuff on the tires?

Funny, I was just wondering what the heck happened to you the other day. Nice to see you back.

Later,
-Nick

Have you considered (or even seen) the 18" Infiniti M45 rims? Mr. Nismo should have some pics/info on those for you.

the only reason why I can see why you SHOULDN'T get them is because they are 215/55/17's and your car should be at least a 225/50or55/17 to be back to OEM. I'm not sure if I would want such skinny tires on such a heavy car, they might cause excessive use of your ABS.

G35 weighs more than an I30. Credit: Car and Driver
but on the internet they say the I30s/G35s weigh roughly the same.

I think they're really nice and classy. If I was getting new wheels I would definately look into those.

They remind me of tantrums but just a little bit thicker.

Hmmm really... Although I'm sure that you saw the numbers I find that hard to believe since the G35's are so narrow and small in comparison to the 5th generation "I series". I would place it closer to the weight of a 4th generation judged by size alone. Still I would maintain at least the OEM sizing of rubber for my car.

45mm fits. (I have them on my 98)

The 215/55-17 size should be fine, since that's what's on the 5th Gen GLEs.

Those Lights are NOT projectors!! Standard 9005/ 9006 which is the same as the stock I30's (non-HID's)
Just I30 lights with Angel eyes. I have a pair in stock (Black Housing) if any 2000+ I30 owner wants them

I also have the Chrome Headlight trim for that headlight as well

You would be surprised. Look at the interior size of the two cars. Near identical. Oh.. and you can't always judge what you see on the outside. BMW 3series=3300lbs...
